We hold yearly workshops at festivals including The Galway Science and Technology festival and  Cruinniu na nOg. We have recently joined the Mayo Science festival and take part in more local festivals including the Westside Arts Festival. 

We run workshops in Cruinniu na nOg every year in counties Clare, Mayo, and Irish speaking areas in Galway, including the islands.

As the principal of St. Catherine’s Ns, I cannot recommend Corrib Kids Coding highly enough. We have worked with Kris and Laura from Corrib for a number of years now both online and in person. Their coding and Microsoft Education workshops for our pupils in all classes with ages ranging from 5 to 13 years, were a great success. The facilitators, Kris and Laura were not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly engaging and patient, ensuring that every child, regardless of age or ability, felt included and supported.

The sessions were tailored to suit each class level, with activities that were both educational and fun. It was a joy to see even our youngest pupils grasp basic coding concepts through hands-on, interactive tasks, while older pupils explored more advanced programming challenges and gained great knowledge on how to operate using the MS suite of apps.

The workshops have sparked a genuine interest in technology among our students and inspired them to think critically and creatively.

Corrib Kids Coding’s professionalism and passion for teaching is evident in every aspect of their work. Our pupils came away with practical skills, increased confidence, and a newfound excitement for the possibilities of coding.
